Annual SID "Spring" Cleaning Underway

With Ohio State University’s spring semester over, the University District Special Improvement District’s Stewards are hard at work cleaning the District. Powerwashing, weeding, mulching, and painting are on the list of projects to accomplish. Work will be done within the SID boundaries which extends along High Street from East Northwood Avenue to Seventh Avenue.

Other tasks include graffiti removal, cleaning of curbside litter receptacles, and alley litter detail.

The University District Special Improvement District (SID) was created to help manage the public spaces along High Street adjacent to Ohio State University’s campus. It is funded by property owners within the district and is managed by a non-profit board of directors.

More information about the University District SID can be found on it’s information page.
