SID services

The University District Special Improvement District (UDSID) was established to improve the business environment and patron experience of the University District. It is a non-profit organization managed by a Board of Directors elected by property owners of the district. The SID provides a variety of services to make High Street and the business district adjacent to The Ohio State University a cleaner and safer place for our students, visitors, businesses, and employees.

  • DonWaun Valdry

    Operations Manager

    DonWaun is a dedicated father to four wonderful children, two girls, and two boys, whom he loves spending time with above all else. An avid cook and movie enthusiast, he also has a passion for combat sports, stemming from his background in boxing. With over two decades of experience in management, DonWaun thrives in leadership roles and has earned a reputation as a people-oriented professional.

    A die-hard fan of the Buckeyes and the Cowboys, he brings the same level of enthusiasm to his favorite sports teams as he does to his new career path, where he is incredibly excited to embark on new challenges and opportunities.
