Helping the University District's Unhoused

The University District Organization and The Ohio State University have partnered to bring outreach support to University District community members that are unhoused, housing insecure, or in need of other assistance. The partnership will also include Southeast Healthcare who brings a comprehensive slate of services that include primary healthcare, behavioral health, and vocational training.

This unique program will bring a full-time Licensed Independent Social Worker to engage closely with those in need. The Ohio State University’s College of Social Work will help guide the program by providing evaluation on its success and create learning opportunities for its students through practicums alongside the social worker.

The program is antiicpated to begin in July. Additional details are forthcoming!
