Welcome back to campus!
Happy first week, Ohio State! Adjusting to the new “pandemic normal,” many policies have returned to life as it was before Covid-19. The university has resumed in-person classes, and attendance policies have returned to normal as well. However, in the case that a student contracts Covid-19, Student Life Disability Services can provide accommodations so that absences do not impact grades—so please communicate with your professors and/or SLDS in the case of a positive test. For more protocols and safety details, visit safeandhealthy.osu.edu.
As of Tuesday, August 24th, Ohio State announced that all students, faculty, and staff are required to be vaccinated. The deadline for the first dose is Friday, October 15, 2021, and the deadline for the second dose is November 15, 2021. This announcement was made following FDA approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Monday.
