A Different "Home" Game: Your Guide to Gameday

OSU

O-H-I-O!

Football Saturdays are back! While that phrase normally generates a great deal of excitement, it is especially true this year. It has been a long road to get here and it is thanks to the sacrifices made and health guidelines followed — on-campus and off — that this can happen. However, that doesn’t mean that everything is back to normal.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no tailgates this year and all OSU parking lots will be closed to the public.

But you can still enjoy the game from the comfort of your own home! Here are some tips on how to enjoy safely.

Safety First

Keep any watch gatherings small (< 10 people).

Wear your masks.

Wash your hands.

Keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet.

New Ways to Enjoy

The game will be broadcast live on FOX and on the radio station 97.1 The Fan.

A special livestream for fans will also be occurring during the game. It can be watched at ohiostatebuckeyes.com.

Plan Ahead

If you’re thinking of venturing out to a bar or other venue to watch the game, you’re not the only one. Many local bars are taking reservations for game day and some are already booked up. To help you avoid crowds and make your game day easier, here is a list of some popular bars and what their status is. Remember to wear your mask, keep a proper distance, and stay safe out there!
