Landlord Tips from the Columbus Division of Fire

The Columbus Division of Fire has safety information for property owners as new off-campus tenants get established in the University District. Take a moment to review common fire hazards with your tenants and protect your property from loss.

Another resource that property owners and managers can take advantage of is the Off-Campus House Excellence Program offered through the Ohio State University and the Columbus Division of Fire. The Off-Campus Housing Excellence Program was created in collaboration with students, parents, property owners/managers, and city and University officials to address the unique needs and interests of the off-campus community.  The program is voluntary and both students and property owners/manager can participate.
