University District Homes
The community surrounding The Ohio State University’s Columbus campus is comprised of many neighborhoods, each with its own unique housing stock and cultural and ethnic diversity. While some areas closest to the university campus have a large amount of student rental housing, other neighborhoods have a significant level of home ownership. Opportunities for homeownership can range from grand Victorian mansions to more modest houses in a broad range of property values. Residents have formed civic groups to advocate on behalf of individual neighborhoods, as well as organizations, such as the University Community Association, which represent the whole University District.
